Privacy at WorkDesk
WorkDesk is currently a private beta for small service businesses. This notice explains the data the beta stores and why.
What WorkDesk stores
Account information such as your sign-in email; your business workspace details; and the customer, vehicle or asset, quote, job, payment, expense and recurring-service information that you choose to enter.
Why it is used
The data is used to provide the WorkDesk service, keep each business workspace separated, maintain access and payment records, troubleshoot the beta and improve the product.
Payments
Card details are handled by Stripe. WorkDesk records payment identifiers, amount, currency, status and the resulting access period, but does not store raw card numbers.
Hosting and processors
The beta uses Supabase for authentication, database and server functions, Netlify for the web application, and Stripe for paid access. These providers process data as part of delivering the service.
Your responsibilities
If you add your own customers' personal information, you remain responsible for having an appropriate reason to hold and use that information in your business.
Access, export and deletion
You can export workspace data from WorkDesk Settings. For correction or deletion requests during the private beta, contact the WorkDesk operator through the same contact channel used for your beta invitation.
Beta changes
This notice may be updated as the product and commercial setup develop. Material changes will be communicated to active beta users.
